SPRING/ SUMMER FASHION 2014

Before you hit the up-front beaches and coveted summer destinations in our country, why don’t you take your first dib on the hottest trend during the Spring/Summer Fashion Week 2014! Here, I have listed my top three trends that aren’t just worth staring but worth staggering as well.

ART WALK

Art lovers can now feast their eyes not just on walls but on clothes too this season. Prada, Celine and Christopher Kane paved their collections in illustrated arts and colour blocking. Expect paints swirls, brush strokes and spray cans adorning those fabrics in an irresistible fashion high. It is all about strong vibrant colors smashed to create interesting prints.

TREND POTS

Runways were bloomed with bunch of floral designs from Dries Van Noten, Mary Katrantzou and Alberta Ferretti last Spring/Summer Fashion Week for 2014. Designers picked the best roses, daisies and poppies to walk the runway down to the streets. Florals are staples during this season so it is not as surprising to see them blossom. You just might want to take your old one out again for a practical take for this seasons must have.

CLEAN STRUCTURE

Sheer shapes and structured pieces starred the collections of Calvin Klein, Valentino and Donna Karan. See how they translate a simple and a pure white garment into an ardent piece that is full of attitude. Conversation starters right on your shoulders.
